80 miles away from Tehran in Iran, the government has allotted a massive land where the official started works on a war footing. With Iran has been one of the worse hit Corona countries claiming almost 429 lives, the citizen speculated it to be a quarantine. However, everyone including the national media was left in shock over the truth behind the works.
The truth came to limelight with the satellite images published by Maxar Technologies, Iran has dug two football-field-sized trenches in the weeks following its first confirmed coronavirus case. One of such massive trench is near the Behesht-e Masoumeh cemetery in the holy city of Qom. According to The Washington Post, the burial ground is spread over 100 yards and is so large that it will be visible from space as well.

Various videos and images of these burial grounds are taking rounds on social media. The locals and the on-site workers confirmed that the new 300ft trenches were dug for the many virus victims who have died in the city. Meanwhile, one of the local newspapers floated reports stating that the government and the cemetery authorities are not following the traditional burial practices tending to the pressures from officials.
