Union Tourism and Culture Minister Kishan Reddy said people should be vigilant as the fourth wave of COVID is expected. The Minister, who visited the district in Bhupalpally, visited the Regonda Mandal Government Primary Hospital. Inquired about the medical services available to patients.
He also urged everyone to wear masks whenever they go out, adding that it would help in resisting the expected fourth wave which is already worsening in China. Meanwhile, all those who have not yet been vaccinated are asked to get the doses immediately. Kishan Reddy said children between the ages of five and twelve will be vaccinated soon.
Kishan Reddy went on to say, “Prime Minister Modi has stated that his goal is to accelerate development in some areas in the country that are identified as the aspirational districts in terms of education, medicine, and employment. As part of that, Union ministers are touring the respective districts from all over the country.”
In Telangana, Bhupalpally, Bhadradri, Kottagudem, and Asifabad districts have been identified, the minister said. He also lauded the Regonda PHC for providing medical services to the public of premium quality, just as good as they are at the corporate hospitals in the country. Earlier, Kishan Reddy visited Ramalaya in Rupireddypally and performed special pujas.
