The new in-charge Manik Rao Thackeray, who understood the conditions of the party with several meetings over two days, spoke to the media at Gandhi Bhavan. He said that he talked to the leaders and learned their thoughts on strengthening the Congress party. It was revealed that the discontent among the leaders has been dealt with and they have joined hands and said that they will work together for the party’s strength. He made it clear that Hath Se Hath Jodo Abhiyaan Yatra will be conducted in accordance with the orders of AICC.
Rahul Gandhi said that this trip will last for two months as a continuation of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He called for everyone to come together in support of Hath Se Hath Jodo Yatra. The Yatra will continue for two months in each district and block. Thackeray explained that the Yatra will be a Bharat Jodo Yatra poster in every house and Rahul Gandhi’s message in every hand. He clarified that every Congress worker and leader should participate in this program.
Thackeray said that he will come again on the 20th of this month and stay for three days. He clarified that he will be staying here from 20 to 22, to discuss the party programs and that he will talk to all the state leaders. He said that all party leaders will work unitedly to bring Congress to power in the state. He said that MP Komati Reddy could not come to the meeting due to being busy in the constituency. He made it clear that he has no dissatisfaction. It has been revealed that he will attend the next meetings held at Gandhi Bhavan.
