It has been a tough time for Hyderabad citizen while the city was brought to a gridlock wit incessant rains for over 48 hours. But seems like the rains worsened the fate of TRS leaders who are facing the backlash of the public who were stuck in floods from the past two days without food and water.
While the flood victims had a heated conversation with Minister KTR on Wednesday to extend help for them immediately, Uppal TRS MLA Bethi Subhash Reddy tasted a bitter experience during his visit while the locals hurled abused and threatened him not to come back.

The video of local women lashing out on the MLA while they were stuck in floodwater from the past 2 days without food and water. “You will be the one responsible if any of us die of hunger,” lashed out the locals. However, it was the MLA’s comments that welcomed criticism.
Instead of assuring the locals immediate help, the MLA commented that he is helpless given the calamity drew backlash. A few officials as well came to the minister defence while Subhas Reddy minced words and slipped from the situation on Thursday.
Life was thrown out of gear as over 24 hours of incessant rainfall left roads waterlogged and low-lying areas inundated. Several low-lying areas in Begum Bazar, Khairatabad, Begumpet, Tolichowki, Shaikpet, Mehdipatnam, Cherlapally, Mallapur, Moula Ali were completely submerged.
