Basking in the success of ‘Uppena’, Panja Vaisshnav Tej, the debut star who set new records has surprisingly completed the shooting of his next project with star director Krishh starring Rakul Preet Singh. The Krish directorial hit the floors immediately after the lockdown regulations were lifted last year and has wrapped up the shoot in two months.
Touted to be an adaptation of a renowned Telugu novel, the drama has reportedly received a good deal from two all the OTT platforms. While Aha and Amazon were the OTTs on the frontline for digital rights, rumour mongers have it that the makers have cracked the deal with Netflix.
However, the ‘Uppena’s clean sweep at the box-office seems to change the mind of Krishh, who was learnt to cancel the deal with Netflix and has opted for theatrical release. As the team is ramping up for the release of first look and title, director Krishh who is also the co-producer will apparently take the final call over the release in a couple of days.
