Under the health officials’ reports that the supreme nation would soon see 1,00,000 and above Corona deaths, conditions worsened for the health staff who have been serving the patients over time. Deficiencies in the health care systems are facing criticism with the primary care professionals working on the frontline were reportedly the ones more prone to the dreadful infection.
Meanwhile, a tweet posted by one of the surgeons from New York City, working on the frontlines melted the netizens. Leaving many in tears, Cornelia Griggs, one of the surgeons took to her social media accounts to leave a heartfelt message for her toddler kids back at the home which she was hustling between a row of shifts at a hospital.
Attaching a picture of her wearing personal protective gear, Cornelia posted-“My babies are too young to read this now. And they’d barely recognize me in my gear. But if they lose me to Covid-19, I want them to know Mommy tried really hard to do her job.” On this note, she also urged her fellow staff to take up the preventive measures on a serious note. It has been reported that a number of doctors and nurses are away from their homes from about 2 weeks.
In less than 24 hours the post garnered over 87.7 thousand likes while thousands took to the comments section to praise the efforts all the doctors fighting the novel coronavirus.
