“We’ll Get Through This Together,” stated the US President Donal Trump as he and the FLOTUS Melania Trump on Friday tested positive for coronavirus. The President himself took to his official Twitter account to reveal the news, hours after which the White House physician released a press statement.
Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

President Trump is “well” and will continue to perform his duties “without disruption” while quarantining along with the first lady, after both tested positive for the coronavirus, the president’s physician said in his press statement.
Trump said late Thursday he would go into quarantine after a top aide tested positive for coronavirus, in a shocking development that threatened to disrupt his scheduled public appearances in the crucial final weeks of the election campaign
While the contact from which the President and his wife contracted the virus turned interesting, it was learnt that Hope Hicks, one of President Donald Trump’s close aides has tested positive after spending time in close proximity in this week. Hicks who serves as Trump’s counsellor travelled with his to the rally on Wednesday.
The 74-year-old president’s positive result will likely sharpen already intense public attention on his ineffectual handling of the pandemic as he campaigns for re-election against Democrat Joe Biden, who leads in national polls. This will indeed turn into a drawback for the Presidential candidate who has been trying desperately to convince the American public amidst Corona backlash.
