The devotees who attended the Markaz Nizamuddin congregation turned into bombshells in the respective states giving a tough job for the police department. Tracing the details of the attendees, shifting them to quarantine, and then getting then tested has become a challenge while a few states recorded untoward incidents at COVID-19 hospitals.
Over which, the Uttar Pradesh police have come with an interesting offer for the state cops who successfully caught the absconded attendees. The Director-General of Law and Order has announced a reward of Rs 20,000 for the police team who took almost 13 people who attended the religious congregation in Delhi. Reportedly, the attendees who absconded from their hometown were informed to travel from to Rampur and then towards Rudrapur.
Almost 3,000 devotees from different parts of the country and Asia had attended a convention of preachers held by the Tableeghi Jamaat here earlier this month, where some of them contracted the virus. Meanwhile, the number of Corona cases crossed 2,300-mark while the death toll is at 56.
