Though the announcement of VD’s project with director Director Anand Annamalai ‘Hero’ came as a sweet surprise to the fans, it soon fizzled out as the project was canned after completing few schedules. However, the grapevine has it that the unit decided to resume the shoot and is ready to hit the sets any time soon. Vijay is reportedly playing the character of a bike racer for which the actor even toned his body.
