Versatile actor Jaya Prakash Reddy who rose to fame with his role in ‘Samarasimha Reddy’ passed away early on Tuesday after a heart attack. The 74-year-old actor who hails from Allagadda, Kurnool died in Guntur at his residence.
Popularly known for his slang and diction in dialogue delivery Jaya Prakash Reddy impressed critics with his versatility in donning both comedy and antagonist role. The actor has a long journey in Tollywood while he started his career with the movie ‘Brahmaputrudu’. Jaya Prakash Reddy was also a theatre artist.
He later gained recognition with ‘Preminchukundam Raa’, ‘Narasimha Naidu’, ‘Jayam Manadera’, ‘Avunu Valliddaru Istapaddaru’, ‘Kabaddi Kabbadi’, ‘Evadi Gola Vadidi’ and ‘Kithakithalu. Jaya Prakash Reddy was last seen in Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ this year.
Many fans, celebrities and politicians took to social media to morn the death of one of the acclaimed actor.
