Renowned senior writer and actor Raavi Kondala Rao on Tuesday Breathed his last with cardiac arrest. The actor(88) who was receiving treatment in one of the private hospitals in Begumpet succumbed to a sudden cardiac arrest.
Raavi Kondala Rao was also left his own mark as a journalist and associate director acted in almost 600 films in his 60 years of career. He began his career with the film ‘Shobha’ in the year 1958. He had also lent his voice as a dubbing artist for several films in Tamil and Malayalam.
Raavi Kondala Rao’s last movie is Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘365 Days’ released in 2015. Daagudu Mootalu, Andala Ramudu (1973), Pelli Pustakam (1991), Brundavanam (1993), Madam (1994), Bhairava Dweepam (1994), and Radha Gopalam (2005) are a few of his well-acknowledged works.
The actor is famous for the characters he played along with his wife Radha Kumari who died in 2012. He is survived by his son RV Sasikumar.
