Cyclone Gulab fury continued to rattle Telangana as rainwater entered houses in some colonies, causing severe hardships to the residents. Telangana government on Wednesday declared a holiday for all government offices, schools, and educational institutions with ponds and canals overflowing blocking the roads.
Most areas were submerged after two days of incessant rains. Even if the intensity of the rain came down on Wednesday, the roads still submerged in the rainwater making it difficult for the commuters. Eventually, the collectorate in Minister KTR’s area is also submerged in rainwater.
Despite the cyclone creating havoc in the state, Minister KTR has been criticized for not paying a visit to the affected areas. Amidst this, posters with ‘Minister KTR Missing’ captions appeared in the city. The photos of which are now going viral on social media.
