Didn’t Virat Kohli and BCCI are not on good terms..? Is the current skipper contemplating quitting his responsibilities..? Yes is the answer from the trusted sources. Based on reports from a leading English daily, India captain Virat Kohli will soon step down as the captain of the T20 and ODI teams after the T20 World Cup.
It was learned that the decision is finalized by BCCI and an announcement is expected soon from the captain himself alongside the Board of Cricket Control for India (BCCI). Reports also have it that if Kohli decides to give up the captaincy, then opener and Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma will be given the responsibility after T20 World Cup.
Kohli has so far led India in 95 ODIs, and with 65 wins along with 27 defeats, has a winning percentage of 70.43. While this development is going to create a huge buzz in social media, BCCI or any of the team leaders refused to respond.
