Making inroads into active politics in Telangana, YS Sharmila, sister of AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday initiated consultations with fans and followers of her late father YS Rajasekhar Reddy which stood as the page-turning development in Telugu states’ politics.
While the question of why Sharmila chose to set Rajanna Rajyam only on Telangana but not in Andhra is still left unanswered, numerous posters around Lotus Pond without YSRCP chief Jagan’s pictures discursively hinted over the differences in the YS family.
Sharmila stating, “I believe my brother’s blessings are with me,” confirmed the speculations Jagan is not in support with Sharmila shocking decision. According to the highly circulated rumour in state political circles, the on-going conflicts between the duo forced Sharmila to come out with a new party in the neighbouring state.
Further, YSR’s confidant Gone Prakash Rao on Tuesday revealed that things are no longer the same between Jagan and Sharmila. “Jagan failed to keep up his promise he made about Vizag Lok Sabha ticket to Sharmila during 2019 elections and Rajya Sabha seat in 2020 again which disappointed Sharmila’s followers,” he said with sources.
Prakash Rao also spilt the beans that Jagan’s wife Bharti and Sharmila are at loggerheads from the past few years. It was also learnt that Sharmila and Jagan also have disputes regarding the properties in Telangana.
The YSR’s daughter is said to have been preparing the ground to float a political outfit and build it in Telangana.
