A dedicated SIT team..CID investigation…almost 1,300 members enquired…none of these helped in the progress of Viveka’s murder case. The shocking murder case of YS Vivekananda Reddy, former minister and uncle of Chief Minister Jagan has been interesting turns with each passing day. Days after Aadhinarayana Reddy and Btech Ravi filed petitions in High Court that the murder case is being sidetracked to harass political opponents, Viveka’s daughter Sunitha moved the High Court over the investigation. Stating that she lost trust in the Andhra Pradesh Police department over the investigation in her father’s death, she urged the court to shift the case to CBI.
This move from Viveka’s daughter took significance amidst the rumours that Jagan-led government is deliberately delaying the investigation of the case. Though Sunitha along with her husband snubbed off the rift between the families in a series of press meetings, sources stated that Vivek’s family is now discontented over the way government and police department is dealing the case. It is to the known knowledge that Sunitha urged the government to shift the case to CBI and she also had filed a petition to the Election Commission over the enquiry. With every trail going in vain, sources revealed that the family members took the step to approach High Court which seems to be a move against the Jagan’s government.
