While the ‘Water Wrangle’ between the Telugu state Chief Minister has become the most debatable in the state political circles, the spat seems to level up in the past few days. Though Jagan and KCR didn’t respond to the issue on the public front, the issue which triggered with the AP government issuing G.O 203 was learnt to take an interesting turn with KCR direct involvement.
Followed by a number of secluded meetings with concerned officials, KCR was learnt to have taken a master move. If the information from the trusted sources is to be believed, the Telangana state government came up with a plan to build another lift irrigation project near the Jurala project in Jogulamba Gadwala district. Instructing the officials to look into the possibilities, the project was rumoured to be coined as a fitting reply to Jagan-led government’s move.
With this master move, KCR and his team strategised to block the almost 15 to 20 TMCs of water before Andhra utilises it. It was known that the officials have already submitted an aggregate report over the possibility of constructing a new project near Gudem Doddi while one TMC per day is designed to be lifted. The constituted team also have retired engineers who played a crucial role in land acquisition.
It all started with Andhra Pradesh planning to lift the lion share i.e, three to four TMCs of water of the Krishna waters released from the Srisailam project via Pothireddypadu which reportedly didn’t go well with T-Government.
