A dialogue war continued between CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Harish Rao during the assembly meetings. Bhatti said that Telangana is situated between Krishna and Godavari rivers. He criticized that the government is saying that the face of Telangana has changed through Kaleswaram, but they are not letting people see it.
He said that the state came only for funds, water, and deadlines and built the Kaleshwaram project. Bhatti alleged that Rs 18 lakh acres were allotted, but distributed canals were not constructed. He reminded that Sridhar Babu appealed to the government to ensure that the flood victims do not suffer and that Devada should be completed soon and water should be provided to the farmers.
Harish Rao got angry at Bhatti’s comments. He said that after the assembly meetings, he can visit Kaleswaram. He made it clear that the entire area surrounding the Varadalochchi project had become muddy, and if someone wants to go, they can go now and clear their doubts. The minister satirized that the work was going on and Bhatti would face trouble if he went there or else he would slip in the mud.
Bhatti got angry that his mic was cut and given to the minister, Harish countered that the Congress leaders were actually fighting among themselves, and he said that due to natural calamity there was flood and hence the motors were damaged in Kaleswaram. Harish Rao said that the Congress leaders were happy after Kaleswaram was damaged due to floods, he further mentioned that they repaired the motors and provided water to the Yasangi crop.
