IT Minister KTR said that Telangana is positioned at the forefront in many fields. 24th National Conference on e-Governance will be held at HIC, Hyderabad. Union Minister Jitender Singh inaugurated this seminar. Minister KTR said that Govt of Telangana is putting a lot of emphasis on e-governance. He said it would work wonders if more incentives were received from the cabinet. National Conference on Governance will be held over two days.
Minister KTR said that we are giving priority to new innovations in Telangana. He spoke about success in the IT sector, being at the top in IT exports.
They said they were ready to do more research with several states and asked the Central government to give ITIR project to Hyderabad. Meanwhile, the T-Fiber project will provide internet connectivity to 30,000 government offices and 80 lakh households. It is hoped that this will increase digital literacy.
He said that along with e-governance, Telangana is giving priority to mobile governance. KTR said that emerging technologies are part of many government departments and we are effectively tackling many issues and challenges. He also said that Telangana is making strides in space research. He asked for a Center of Excellence in Space to be set up in Hyderabad.
In this two-day conference, they will discuss how to deal with the current situation considering post-pandemic. Further on e-governance, also included topics like Atmanirbhar India, new innovations, and digital financial transactions.
