It usually rains from July to September. Occasional intermittent light showers are common but we rarely see much rain in January. But .. with the torrential rains in January this year, the farmers are facing severe losses.
The recent unseasonal rains have caused immense crop damage. The Telangana Meteorological Department has given another bitter news by the time the farmers breathe a sigh of relief. Temperatures rose slightly in the state. Meanwhile, the Hyderabad Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of massive rains in Telangana for three days. The state has forecast light to moderate rains in some parts of the state from Sunday to Tuesday. Thundershowers and thunderstorms are expected along with unseasonal rains.
The rains that have already fallen in Telangana have caused huge damage to crops. Officials are in the process of assessing crop damage. Now the Meteorological Department is warning of another monsoon.
