‘Sye Raa’ has been the talk of the tinsel town since its release. Hitting the screens as a pan-India film, megastar’s performance as Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy has impressed the cinephiles and critics who lauded it to be his career’s best. Rama Charan who turned producer for his father’s dream project is being applauded for unveiling the story of an unsung hero who started the rebellion against the britishers. The cast and crew have participated in the movie promotions before the release sharing interesting experience with the periodic film. As a part of the promotions, Megastar gave an interview spilling the beans about his first suggestion for the character of Sye Raa.
He revealed that he first imagined Ram Charan in the character of Sye Raa when Paruchuri brothers approached him with the script a decade ago. Though Chiru was interested in the script he was quite occupied with his political endeavours. He then recommended Charan for the Sye Raa’s character who hesitated to do it at the starting of his career. However, Chiranjeevi making a come back to movies and Ram Charan turning a producer made ‘Sye Raa’ possible giving us a magnum opus.
