Irrespective of the commencement of election dates, the opposition parties in the state- Congress and BJP are of the concrete belief that TRS is going to lose the elections in the state. Both the congress and BJP were chanting this for a few days. Their primary motive is to oust KCR and seize power. Many strategies are being prepared for this. Currently, Congress is focusing on membership registration, while Bandi Sanjay is planning the second installment of the Padayatra where he stays in the crowd for 200 days and heads straight to the polling on the fixed dates. However, KCR is leaving the burden to PK and turning it into national politics.
It can be stated that no other politician can outsmart Chief Minister KCR when it comes to political tactics. But, Political pundits claim that there is some confusion in the TRS as a leader like KCR is becoming more dependent on PK. His own party leaders are losing faith looking at these changes. Moreover, the TRS party is currently overloaded with leaders from other parties.
KCR is in the strategy of winning twice and seizing power for the third time. But analysts warn that he will be facing difficulties while allotting seats to the members of the party when the elections commence. This is because there are two or three leaders vying for the same seat (at a single place). TRS is working on coming to power without any opposition, but the current scenario where all the politicians who once fought each other are currently sitting next to each other; and this will surely trigger the ideologies and beliefs among themselves causing a civil war in the party itself internally. However, for the time being, everybody is greeting each other with a smile, but with time, as the elections dates arrive, this is going to change.
Analysts say the competition for TRS seats seems to be high, especially in the joint Khammam district. In Pinapaka, Paleru, Aswaraupeta, Kottagudem, and Illandu seats, there is a lot of competition among the leaders. A war is going on between Upender Reddy and Tummala Nageswara Rao in Paleru. In Kolhapur, there are clashes between Harshavardhan Reddy and Jupally Krishna Rao. Also in Tandur, there is a competition between Rohit Reddy and Patnam Mahender Reddy, while in Maheshwaram, there is an issue between Sabita Indrareddy and Thigala Krishnareddy.
In the cantonment under GHMC, however, Errol Srinivas, Manne Krishank, and Gajjela Nagesh are said to be trying to get the seatback. Analysts say that this is not just about a single seat, and there is a chance of clashes in TRS in many places. By the time of the election, these clashes are expected to intensify and become real problems to KCR.
