TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy said that the Center is neglecting Telangana. He questioned why KCR is afraid to question the Prime Minister. Further, he stated that the TRS MPs were hiding behind other parties and projecting it as if they were struggling for the state. He alleged that they are of no use other than posing for photos. He criticized Modi and KCR for cheating Telangana. He went on to say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not giving him an appointment though he wanted to discuss the problems of the state with him in person. Revanth demanded CM KCR to get involved in it and ask for an appointment with Modi, and not leave Delhi until the PM does so.
Revanth said that it is a shame that the central and state governments did not respond to the massive damage caused by the floods in Telangana. “KCR is not coming out of his house saying that he will create a tsunami in Delhi,” he said. He accused Modi and KCR of trying to protect each other. It was criticized that KCR was discussing with the officials about the loans to be received from various banks and that they were planning to give bills to the contractors and take commissions after they came. He asked the people of the state to take note of KCR’s affair.
“Is Modi the Prime Minister only for Gujarat? He will give thousands of crores if there are floods in his home state. Why not for Telangana,” protested the TPCC chief. He criticized Kishan Reddy and other MPs, calling them the traitors of Telangana. He reminded that central and state governments should coordinate during natural calamities. He criticized that KCR should prepare reports on the damage but instead chose to ignore public issues due to his selfishness. He said that they have information that there has been a loss of 3 thousand crore rupees in the state due to floods.
He urged Kishan Reddy to explain the situation of the state to the Prime Minister and suggested bringing funds. He also wants the center to investigate the irregularities committed by KCR. Revanth clarified that the party will discuss the issue of Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy internally. He said that the High Command will take a decision on this.
