TPCC chief Revanth Reddy said that justice will be done to the farmers in the state if KCR steps down. Revanth participated in a farmer bustle in Lakshmapur. At the venue, he said that the state has been blooming in happiness with KCR and KTR being away from it for four days, adding that this would continue if and only if both KCR and his son along with their entire family are ousted out of the Telangana border. He reminded us that Lakshmapur was adopted by the CM and the Dharani portal was launched from there.
“If the problems are growing in the KCR adopted village itself, then understand the situation in the rest of the country,” Revanth said. 582 people in the village said they did not have account numbers and many of them don’t have the Raithu Bandhu. He said that farmers are facing a lot of losses due to a lack of passbooks. Revanth demanded that a complete survey be conducted in the village to solve the problems. On this occasion, Revanth also attacked Minister Mallareddy along with KCR. He announced that Mallareddy and his brother-in-law will be prosecuted for land grabs, irregularities, and corruption when Congress comes to power.
“The day KCR laid road to his farmhouse, Kummari Ellavva lost her house. Why can’t KCR build a house for her at least? The Collector responded by warning that Congress would set an appropriate precedent if the house was not built,” he said. Revanth further mentioned that the Congress party would take the responsibility of building a house for Kummari Ellavva and everyone else. He said the Congress party would come to power in 12 months and would distribute passbooks to everyone in the same village within a month. He further alleged that if KCR is honest, he would agree to prepare for a trial against all the allegations made against him. Revanth confidently said that he is ready for any consequences if he is proven wrong.
“When the Congress party comes to power, we will go to the farmers and buy the paddy by paying a decent Rs 2,500 per quintal. Also, we will buy all the other crops at a farmer-friendly price. KCR got drunk in his farmhouse, and 15 days after the Warangal declaration, he goes to Delhi and gives cheques to the Punjab farmers. Our farmers are barely getting any benefits at any point. They can instead build a house for Ellavva. But instead, they chose to fly to Punjab to offer the cheques to the farmers. We are not against helping out farmers of another state, but we are against it when it is done at the cost of ignoring our own farmers’ problems. What is he doing in Punjab when farmers of Telangana are suffering? The farmer’s declaration should be publicized in 12,000 villages. Justice will be done to the farmers when the Congress party comes to power, “said Revanth Reddy.
