Followed by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) notices to Telangana police on the encounter of four accused in Disha case, a special team from New Delhi has made a visit to Mahabubnagar and Chatanpally, taking the media reports as a suo-moto. Regarding the same, the Hyderabad police on Tuesday has submitted a report to the National Human Rights Commission with all the evidence and the details of the four accused. NHRC team which also met the parents and family members of Disha on the same day has collected statements as the part of the fact-finding related to the rape and murder. Statements were also taken from the 10 police personnel involved in the encounter including the two injured.
Sources revealed that the report submitted on Tuesday by the police have key information regarding the crucial victims and evidence which helped them in tracking down the accused. The reports confirmed that the accused were the same four people who brutally raped and murdered Disha on November 27th. The police have also included forensic evidence which proves the same. Right from offering help to Disha, all the consequences which led to the rape, murder and setting the body ablaze were reportedly stated in the reports. Police also have provided the NHRC with reports regarding the bloodstains found at the premises of toll gate, DNA report of bloodstains found in the lorry cabin, and the CCTV footages from near the toll gate and petrol bunks.
