While the nation anticipated that the Corona chaos would end by the end of lockdown, the increasing number of positive cases spread from the people devotees who attend the Nizamuddin Congregation came as a bombshell to both government and citizen. The number of cases across the country increased exponentially which was later revealed that 90 per cent of them had the history of taking part in the congregation.
On this note, the Delhi government has issued orders to register an FIR against the maulana of the Markaz Masjid where the congregation had taken place. However, Maulana Saad Kandhalvi, who hosted the infamous Tablighi Jamaat event, has been missing since March 28 after he was served a notice by the Delhi police. The Delhi Police has reportedly deployed different teams to trace the chief while all his relatives and close affiliations have been questioned by the police to find out his whereabouts.
It is known news that over 2,000 people, including foreigners and Indians from across the country, participated in the Tablighi Jamaat gathering in Delhi’s Nizamuddin which violated lockdown guidelines. Followed by which, the congregation turned into the epicentre of the Coronavirus on India.
Over which, Maulana Saad, the person who hosted the event this year has been receiving criticism while netizens took to social media to condemn the congregation organised while the nation is at peril. According to the confidential information to the Delhi Police, Maulana Saad has been taking shelter in Uttar Pradesh where the two of the deployed teams started their search operation.
