There is no denial that lockdown gave an unexpected boom to OTT and other online streaming platforms while theatres remained shut for almost 10 months. This encouraged several budding filmmakers and actors to test their fortune with many production houses looking towards helming low-budget films and web series.
Mega Princess Niharika Konidela who recently entered the wedlock is one such actress. Despite venturing into all formats, the actress, unfortunately, didn’t fathom a proper hit after which she shifted her base to Kollywood now. However, she now signed a web series written and directed by Bhanu Rayudu that also features Anasuya Bharadwaj in a key role.
According to the latest buzz, the makers of the web series which is now in the shooting stage are spending a bomb on it. Sources confirmed that the makers planned to helm the web series with a whopping b budget of Rs 6 crores including the remuneration of the artists.
Further, it was learnt that Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, husband of Niharika is also one of the producers who invested almost half of the budget.
