As the world battles the coronavirus outbreak with all Supreme nations like the U.S, Russian and China racing for the vaccine and medicine to treat the Coronavirus which already claimed 37, 821 lives across the world. On this note number of developed and deprived countries reached out the above nations for best possible help which received a bare hand in return. The nations themselves suffering from the devastating viral outbreak is the reason behind the so-called Supreme Nations giving up on offering help.
In contrary, these nations apparently approached a small republican country with less than one crore population. Cuba, which has a strong health care system with 29,000 medical professionals practising in 59 countries stood as an exemplary example for its crisis management. According to the reports, Cuba has not only been combating the Corona cases in its own country but is also offering medical help to the Supreme Nations like the U.S and the United Kingdom.
Despite being a poor country that often experiences shortages, Cuba was better positioned than most to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. The country combines a completely socialised medical system that guarantees health care to all with impressive biotech innovations. Now, Cuba sent thousands of doctors to work, free of charge, in low-income countries in Latin America and Africa to help with the coronavirus response.
Statistically, Cuba boasts over 8.2 doctors per 1000 citizen which is observed to be over three times the rate in the United States-2.6 or South Korea-2.4, almost five times as many as China-1, and nearly twice as many as Italy-4. Cuba also has an impressive medical system, Cuba has a far better track record of protecting its citizens from emergencies than other poor nations.
Rounding this off, neither the ever-emerging technologies nor the supreme economy came to the rescue but the strong health care system like in Cuba has come to the rescue while the pandemic is taking a toll at the global healthcare scenario.
