TPCC chief Revanth Reddy demanded that ministers KTR and Sabita must immediately go to the IIIT and resolve the issues of the students. He fired at the state government and the police for arresting him while he was on his way to interact with the students. “Did I come to bomb your own farmhouse KCR?” he asked.
Revanth questioned whether there was any fear for the government if he spoke to Basara IIIT students. He said KCR reviews should not be on the Bihar state assembly but on the condition of universities in the state. He also said that he expected Sabita on having an extra interest in Basara IIIT which was built during the YS regime.
Revanth said that students’ problems are not silly issues, but the Chief Minister’s way of dealing with peoples’ problems is. He was outraged at the police system, stating that those who cannot control the r*pe incidents in the state are speaking and overly interested in arresting those who show concern towards people and their problems. He clarified that soon Congress will prepare an action plan on student-youth issues and come up with a declaration for them.
Further Revanth Reddy has traveled in many ways to meet IIIT students. He went to Maharashtra and from there traveled on a tractor in the fields and then crossed the thorn bushes and jumped a wall and went inside. However, the police noticed him and arrested him.
