Balayya’s ‘Ruler’ has been the most-awaited release of the year but should say that it has left the Nandamuri fans in utter disappointment. While Bala Krishna’s Tony Stark looks pepped up the buzz for the film, the movie was nothing different than any another of his action dramas. This disappointment has, of course, changed a lot of things for Balayya’s next. Boyapati Srinu has already announced his next with Balayya during Ruler’s shoot itself. After the disastrous result of the film, rumours went rife that the Boyapati-Balayya duo shelved the film. But proving them wrong, the team kickstarted the shooting with a pooja ceremony.
However, sources close to Boyapati team revealed that pertaining to a series of flops from Balayya’s end, the star director is planning to cut down the budget of the film. Even the producers are said to back off to invest in bulky sets as even Boyapati was on flop track with ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’. But will Balayya compromise with this budget cut down? Grapevine has it that Boyapati who is now busy in re-writing his script in accordance with the budget constraints in neck-deep trails to convince Balayya over the decision.
