Mumbai: As the counting progresses in Maharastra, seems like no party touches the 144 magic mark with a tough fight between the biggies BJP, Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress. Amidst the tug of war between the parties, Shiv Sena and NCP have clearly become the King Makers, snubbing the age-old parties like BJP and Congress. Shockingly, NCP is set to win more seats than the Congress. On the other hand, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Rout hinted that will insist on the 50:50 formula during government formation.
The rumours also broke out the Shiv Sena is likely to form an alliance with Congress, however, Sanjay Rout struck them off with his statement. “We will talk with the Chief Minister for further declarations,” he added. Besides being the family which only supports the parties, Aaditya Thackeray, the first in his political family to contest elections. He is now in lead in the Worli constituency and is likely to take the CM chair if everything goes well. While a few of the political analysts speculated that Shiv Sena might even insist on dividing the 5-year tenure of the government and occupy the Chief Minister’s office for two-and-a-half years.
