The only MLA representing JanaSena in the state Assembly snubbed the supremo! This news is no longer a new thing for both JanaSena cadre or followers of the party. In a roll of statements against his party’s high command, JanaSena’s only MLA Rapaka Varaprasad heaped praises on Chief Minister Jagan in the Monday’s assembly session. The Razole MLA backed Jagan-led government’s ‘three capital’ proposal in the state. Besides an official notice sent by the party chief Pawan Kalyan to oppose the ‘AP decentralisation’ and ‘Amaravati Metro Development Authority’ bills to be introduced in the assembly, Rapaka chose to snub the instructions.
Announcing his support for the three capitals proposal, Rapaka said-“I welcome CM’s decision to decentralise the administration. This will help the government to reach to the backward districts and regions of the state. Only great minds can implement such bold decisions,” he said going all praise for Jagan. Adding fuel to the cold war, sources revealed that Rapaka is holding regular meetings with YSRCP supremo and the minister on a regular basis.
While the followers in Razole opined that their MLA is on the verge of changing his loyalty to the ruling party, Rapaka has been sending feelers to the JanaSena cadre. However, it still remained a question of why Pawan and the party are tolerating the repeated insubordination by the minister. With the new bonhomie with BJP, will JanaSena crank its whip over insubordination any time soon?
