Did the Huzurnagar’s winning spirit give beyond expected confidence to KCR?
Yes, says his much-awaited yet controversial comments on TSRTC employee strike. The TRS supremo and the Chief Minister of Telangana breathed fire on the employees who are going on the indefinite strike from the past 20 days. In a media meet arranged after the victory of TRS in Huzurnagar by-polls, the leader came down heavily on the scenarios going on with the RTC unions and called the strike as a dumb decision. He then stated that RTC is now a closed chapter and that the employees along with the unions forced him to do so. “RTC is in huge losses, right when it is time to make crucial decisions, the employees went on the strike pushing the corporation into further troubles,” he said.
On this note, he reminded that after the state formation, it is the same TRS government which has increased the salaries of employees by 67 per cent like never before and yet the employees chose to go for the strike. “The Center has recently passed a law, handing over the RTC to respective state governments and the courts have nothing to do with this. It is clear that the workers have fallen victim to the political vendetta of the union leaders and now no one can save the employees,” averred KCR.
KCR who is known for his witty comments in his very own sarcastic tone, has yet again shot sharp comments on the employees, but this time these might drag him into trouble. With the municipal elections fast approaching, shouldn’t the senior leader be more cautious over what he states?
