Followed by her comments on Mumbai Police that she feared the city police force more than the ‘movie mafia’, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut came all guns blazing at the actress on Friday. In a reply to the “Manikarnika’ actress who volunteered to confront her experiences with Mumbai drug mafia, Sanjay Raut asked the actress to refrain from travelling back to Mumbai.
To which, Kangana Ranaut accused Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut of openly threatening her to never return to Mumbai and took to her Twitter handle to post a controversial post which is now taking both political and Bollywood circles to storm. “After Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir?” read her tweet.
In an angry comeback to Kangana’s remarks, Sanjay Raut said that the actress is a mental case and is spitting in her own plate. “There are some political parties supporting her,” he added.
Jumping into the controversy, Maharashtra Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant warned the actress should first run a background check on Kadam before seeking help due to his ‘dangerous’ history.
Amid growing open threats on social media, Kangana Ranaut who is currently taking a pandemic break in her hometown Manali announced that she will be heading back to Mumbai on September 9th. In an open challenge to all those threatening her to stay back, the actress warned if anybody could stop her.
