A campaign is underway to enforce a night curfew in Telangana in the wake of the increased severity of corona cases. The medical and health department gave clarity on this. He said there were no corona cases as severe as the imposition of night curfew in the state. Health Director Srinivasa Rao clarified that if the activity rate exceeds 10 percent, it will be considered.
The state has so far given precautionary doses to 2.16 lakh people. The High Court is scheduled to hear the corona situation in the state on Tuesday. In this context, DH Srinivasa Rao submitted a report to the High Court on the situation in the state. The state currently has a corona passivity rate of 3.16 percent, he said.
It was clarified that the passivity rate did not exceed 10 percent in any of the districts of the state. It was revealed that corona sanctions were imposed until the 31st of this month as part of precautionary measures. The highest positivity rate in the state was 6.45 percent in Medak district while the lowest was 1.14 percent in Kottagudem.
It was 4.26 per cent in GHMC and 4.22 per cent in Medchal. The ICU said the oxygen occupancy rate was 6.1 percent. In view of all this, it seems that the government has no intention of imposing a night curfew in the state. Clarity is likely to come after today’s hearing in the High Court.
