By the time the state forgets the brutal murder of MRO Vijaya Reddy by setting her ablaze, a series of similar incidents of sorts are shaking the shacks of the revenue community. In an incident that created tensions at the Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) in Allagadda, a woman created chaos with a petrol bottle in her hand who tried to douse herself and the officials. According to police reports, the woman who has been approaching the Mandal Revenue office for many days reached the office with a bottle of petrol on Wednesday, threatening to set ablaze.
Reportedly, the woman darted into the MRO’s cabin and started yelling at the officials for troubling her despite repeated visits and appeals. Upon receiving the information, the Allagadda police reached the MRO office who took the situation under control. The police later took her into custody and counselled her.
