Amidst the flare with Maharastra government from the last few days over the security issues, actress Kangana Ranaut who volunteered to provide sensational proofs regarding the drug racket in Bollywood was granted Y category security on Monday.
While the sources from the Ministry of Home revealed that the security will be soon extended to Y+, the actress took to her official social media handles to thank Home Minister Amit Shah for providing her security amidst threats from Shiv Sena leaders.
“This is proof that no fascist forces will be able to suppress nationalist voices. I am indebted to Amit Shah for honouring the words of a daughter of this country. Jai Hind,” read Kangana’s tweet posted in Hindi.
It is to the known knowledge that the actress challenged Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Raut who threatened not return back to Mumbai after her ‘Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir’ remarks.
Despite multiple threats on social media Kangana Ranaut is scheduled to land in Mumbai on September 9. It can be noted that the Himachal Pradesh government has already said the state will provide security to Kangana.
In the line of the fresh decision by central government, Kangana will be now provided with 11 security personnel, including commandos.
