Hyderabad: With its entry in the Huzurnagar by-polls race, the party supremo Chandrababu Naidu has sent signals that the party is now on the resurrection mode in Telangana. However, TTDP faced a setback after the State Telugu Yuvatha president Tulla Veerender Goud submitted his resignation on Monday. The son of senior TDP leader and former state minister T Devender Goud has sent his resignation to the party chief stating that the party has deviated from its ideology forcing him to leave. While the resignation has shackled the TTDP grounds, the news that he would be soon joining BJP has come as another jolt. If the reports are to be believed, Veerender Goud will be joining the saffron party in the presence of party chief Amit Shah in Delhi on October 3.
Seems like BJP is on a serious note, strengthening its roots in the Telangana states. Not many days after the rumours broke that Congress star campaigner Vijayashathi would soon join BJP, Veerender’s resignation and hints that he would also join Vijayashanthi have come as a major setback to TRS and Congress. Close sources revealed that several other Congress and TRS leaders are on their way to bid adios for the respective parties soon to join BJP. If this is true, BJP is on its way to turn the ‘Pink’ to ‘Saffron’ in Telangana.
