Several videos of dangerous stunts performed by youngsters in Vijayawada on Krishna Lanka National Highway (NH65) and Durga Varadhi Road surfaced on WhatsApp and are going crazy viral.
With such stunts, these youths are putting themselves and other commuters on the road at risk. Reports also stated that they were reportedly underage.
When TNM contacted Vijayawada Traffic DCP T Ram Prasad to seek an explanation on the alleged bike racing and stunts, he said, “We are verifying the videos. We will take necessary action against all who are involved.”
He added, “If it is found that they are minors, we will also book cases against the parents.”
The DCP further said, “Parents too have the responsibility to check on their children about what they’re doing.”
