Gaining full steam in the state political circles, YS Sharmila’s political party which was launched recently in Telangana has been dropping crucial announcements from the past few days.
While Team Sharmila on Wednesday revealed that Sharmila, the daughter of late AP CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy will be contesting from Paleru, Khammam district in the upcoming assembly elections.
Stating that the welfare schemes set up by YS Rajasekhar Reddy in Telangana were not being implemented properly, YS Sharmila stated that forming government to work towards holistic welfare is their ultimate goal in 2023.
While the party name and procedures will be reportedly announced in the public meeting to be held in Khammam district on April 9, Sharmila continued to hold meetings with the confidants, fans, followers and leaders from all the districts of Telangana at Lotus Pond, Hyderabad.
Besides stating that the new party will not join hands with any prevailing political parties in the state, sources close to Sharmila revealed that the party supremo is contemplating on naming the party YSR Congress with the photo of YS Rajasekhar Reddy in it.
