Basking in the glory of his recent comeback after several setbacks he has received, the wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant was spotted quite active on social media.
Revealing his love for television shows especially cartoons, Rishab recently hared a tweet, with him wearing a T-shirt displaying one of the most loved and iconic cartoon characters, Jerry from the show ‘Tom & Jerry’.
Captioned the image, “How many of you have watched this cartoon?”, the 23-year-old cricketer fell a troll material for his fellow player Yuzvendra Chahal and Afganistan player Rashid Khan who took a hilarious troll at the picture.
While Chahal commented “You or Tom bro?”, Rashid join him writing, “I watch many time both you and Tom.” This fun banter between the three players cheered up the cricket fans on Monday.
On the professional front, Pant recently entered the 1,000-run club in Tests among Indian wicketkeeper-batsman following his success in Australian series.
He played a stunning knock of 97 in the third Test while in the fourth Test, he scored an unbeaten 89 to help India chase down 328 at the Gabba.
After a tough 2020 where he lost his place in the playing eleven of Team India across formats, Pant has revived his Test career with a stunning display in the just-concluded Test series against Australia.
