Reducing the visibility to “zero” in many places, the national capital on Wednesday experienced dense fog in the morning as temperatures drastically dropped in the city.
As alerted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a dense fog covered Delhi while the city for the first time this winter season experienced zero visibility.

With a thick fog engulfing the city and neighbouring areas, many major airlines, including IndiGo, SpiceJet and Vistara, issued advisories to passengers to check the status of their flights. The city’s night temperature dropped drastically from the last two days which is also likely to fall further.
